Exploring Grief and Loss as a Guardian: A Compassionate Journey

This webinar’s goal is to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to navigate the complex landscape of grief and loss as a Guardian. My hope is to empower individuals in finding their personal path of healing, growth, and ultimately, a sense of peace in their journey through grief and loss.

Participants will:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of grief and loss as a Guardian, including the different stages and manifestations.
  • Explore individual experiences of grief and loss in, recognizing that everyone's journey is unique.
  • Identify healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for processing grief and loss.
  • Empower individuals to find meaning and growth in their experiences of grief and loss.

Intended Audience: Guardians who have experienced loss. Either the loss of a client or personal losses.

Handouts: Coping with Grief Strategies and Self-Care Ideas. These handouts can serve as practical tools, prompts for reflection, and sources of information for participants as they navigate through the complexities of grief and loss.

This session will last for 60 minutes and is eligible for one hour of continuing education credit from the Center for Guardianship Certification.
