Building Monitoring Practices for Better Outcomes
This session discusses how providing educational opportunities and building rapport in monitoring can increase positive outcomes in guardianships. Providing the guardians with the knowledge, tools, and resources to be effective guardians from the outset creates a framework where guardians know that they have support on behalf of the courts to work towards the best interests of the people they serve. This practice also builds awareness of the ongoing monitoring practices by the court, leading to a greater propensity for guardians to seek help before crises arise.
